container transport

CTU is a full daughter of the well known Dutch haulage company Pouw. The

company runs a terminal in Utrecht, the center of Holland. The Amsterdam -

Rijnkanaal (dutch for channel) is connecting it with the ports of Amsterdam

and Rotterdam. A large fleet of road transport equipment is taking care of the

transport from and to the customer destinations. The mainstream of the CTU

fleet is formed by Volvo's.

A Belgian registered Volvo FH loaded with an IFF box container. IFF is short for

International Freight Forwarders. The company is from origin Canadian, it's

headquarters is still located in Toronto. Worldwide freight forwarding is core

business. Containerized transport is part of it.

 

 

A German registered Bertschi unit on the move somewhere in Holland. The

tractor is weight optimized MAN TGX with the standard sleeper cab. The MAN

is loaded with an IMO 1 tankcontainer, it's loaded with a hazardous cargo.

Bertschi's main activity is dry bulk transport nevertheless it's also offering a

strong (ADR) fluids transport proposition to it's customers.

 A traditional Dutch drawbar container combination loaded with 2 x 20" box

containers. The DAF fourlegger is an older long wheelbase 96XF Space Cab

version. Drawbar combinations like this are more and more replaced by

dividable multi axled semi trailers. Nevertheless combination like this are

still looking great.
