Scania R500 Topline for NordicCrane Stangeland, which is one of the biggest
crane hire/special hauling companies in Norway. Stangeland itself is a big local
construction company which has long had a crane/special hauling division, and
that division was recently merged with Kynningsrud Kran in eastern Norway,
and a few other smaller companies in other parts of the country, and called
NordicCrane. This particular Scania is hooked to a special trailer for
prefabricated concrete elements, which are transported standing up in the
trailer.
Scania R560 Highline livestock hauler, owned by Roald Berentsen, and hauling
for one of the two big livestock/slaughter house/meat corporations in Norway,
Fatland. The other one is called Nortura. Most livestock trucks in Norway are
set up like this one, although a few three story ones have popped up lately.
This particular truck, incidentally, has a three story trailer that he tows on a
regular basis. He hauls cattle, pigs, and sheep, mostly. My area is big in
agriculture, so livestock haulers like this one are a frequent sight here.
Scania R560 Topline for big Norwegian trucking company Håkull, based in
Sandnes and Kristiansand, who has long been a familiar sight not only on local
Norwegian roads, but also on European roads, as their main work is European
work. They also have a removals division. This particular truck is owned by an
owner operator out of the Kristiansand area, and is a good example of sharp
owner operator trucks hauling for Håkull. It was found at their terminal at
Lura, close to Sandnes.
MAN TGX 25.540 XXL Hydrodrive. It isn't unheard of to see dump trucks or
tractors pulling dump trailers equipped with the biggest available cabs here in
Norway. This particular one is owned by Bjelland Entreprenør, who have three
XXL cabbed MAN's pulling dump trailers, and two XL cabbed MAN's set up as
dump truck with pup trailer. The Carnehl trailer is pretty typical of the sort of
dump trailers used in my area by most construction companies.
