A Mercedes Axor hooked to a 3 axled rear tipper semi. The semi is wearing
a colorful advertising on both sides. Quite rear for a tipper! The tipper
combination is romping along the A50 between Apeldoorn and Arnhem. The
Axor is a standard sleeper cab, not that common too. Most operators are
opting for the raised roof version. The Axor is created to have a low tech and
overall lighter vehicle available for mainly fleet sales. For distribution however
the Axor is simply to high, cab access is poor.
A superb Belgian registered tipper combination. The beautiful MAN TGX 4 x 4
tractor is hooekd to a 3 axled semi trailer tipper. The rig was on display at the
2012 edition of the anual Trucskar Festival in Assen (NL). The complete outfit
is running on alloy wheels. The owner is using is for construction work. I
wonder how they are keeping it immaculate in this work!
Ginaf went bankrupt a number of weeks ago. Luckily it made a restart.
It would have been a pity when the disappearance was definite. The
behavior of DAF (read Paccar) is a little strange. It just invested in tippers
(Tatra) and didn't help one of it's oldest relations. An integration in the group
would have been understandable. The niche market of Dutch tippers is most
likely the reason for this behavior.
Dutch operator Stutvoet is running this DAF tipper combination. The XF95
Space Cab is hooked to a 3 axled tipper chassis. The rig is used for hauling
sugar beets. 1 of the 2 existing sugar works in Holland is located in Hoogkerk
nearby Groningen. The Northerner provinces of Holland do have a formidable
agricultural areal with a lot of farmers growing sugar beets. Stutvoet is a
haulage company located in this area with a focus on agricultural related
transport.
