A Dutch 6 x 2 fuel distribution truck heading east on the A1 near Deventer. The Scania R114 380 rigid is already quite old, it entered service in 2002. The owner is De Croon located in Twello, it's already old quite old it was founded 1927.
Belgian operator Fockedey prefers Mercedes trucks and tractors. This picture is showing something special, a 4 x 2 Arocs tractor hooked to a dry bulk tanker. The tractor is running on steel springs instead of the air suspension of the Actros.
A stunning single walled stainless steel road tanker combo run by Dutch operator H. van Toorn & zn. The tank body is made of bright annealed stainless steel. Its surface is even smoother then the more common 2B cold rolled finish.
A good-looking Volvo FH dry bulk tanker run by W. van Kommer. The Kommer fleet is formed by Mercedes and Volvo trucks. The company relocated to Barneveld a couple of years ago. Their current headquarters is the old Van Maanen yard and office.
An already aged DAF XF95 Super Space Cab owned by the small Dutch operator Kruisdijk. Its running DAFs for ages, nevertheless I saw recently an Iveco in their colours. The tanker is partly wearing the old livery from long ago.
The Iveco Stralis is in its lasts live cycle stage. The Italian truck builder is testing is a new series, its introduction is expected next year. The cab shell of the Stralis is already quite old. It was introduced on the EuroStar series in the nineties.
